Is there anyway to disable it to compare launch times? To my understanding, hiya creates an emunand that runs off your sd, which provides an extra layer of protection in case I mess anything up. The DSTT is can also do YSMenu and TWiLight and is a bit cheaper, but requires Unlaunch installed to work on DSi. The cards aren't good, their stock kernel has a timebomb and is overall pretty bad, but they are cheap and alright with YSMenu or TWiLight Menu++.

The R4i Gold 3DS Plus is what I've usually seen called the best card now, but its out of stock on so you'll need to either wait until it comes back in stock (which may be a long time) or try other sites, but I'm not sure of any I know are good that have it personally. Click to expand.For the most part just using the SD will be fine, if you want to be sure the games you want to play work you can check the nds-bootstrap compatibility list, flashcards do still have better compatibility with a few games and older homebrew though.
